This is the university you’re most likely to drop out of

The Complete University Guide has named and shaped the universities with the highest dropout rates in the country.

As part of its annual ranking, the Guide identified the University of Cambridge as the university with the highest degree competition rate — a fairly impressive 98.4%.

It’s also good news for students at Bristol and Warwick, who are jointly 96.7% likely to finish their degree.

Students at Durham, Imperial College London, Oxford, the Royal Agricultural University, Bath, Exeter and St. Andrews are also probably happy enough to stick it out for the full three or four years of their degree.

It’s not good news for those at the University of East London, though — just 67.5% of students here finish their degree, meaning almost a third drop out before graduation.

There is also a high dropout rate at the universities of the West of Scotland (70% complete rate), Bolton (71.2%), Newman (73.4%) and West London (73.9%.)

The news comes just days after it was revealed that the University of East London was bottom for student satisfaction in the Times Higher Education rankings.

Newman

West of Scotland

East London
